Police responded to reports of shooting at Clackamas Town Center in Happy Valley, Oregon on Friday. Initially, the sheriff’s office in Clackamas said that the while multiple law enforcement agencies were at the scene of the shooting, there were no active shooter present. In a follow-up update, the sheriff’s office said that there is no threat to the public and the Clackamas Town Center call remains open.

The sheriff’s office said in a follow-up statement: “Deputies have one person of interest detained. One person was taken to a local hospital with injuries. At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident that happened in the parking lot. Clackamas Town Center and surrounding businesses remain open.”
